Italian machinery industry expanding, confidence grows for Q3 2025
The machinery and moulds sector for plastics and rubber processing continues to show signs of vitality, confirming itself as solid and capable of competing even in a global scenario still marked by instability.
According to the latest AMAPLAST business survey, the Italian market achieved very positive results compared to Q2 2024, with significant increases in both machinery turnover and spare parts turnover.
Abroad, despite global tensions and uncertainties, the sector stands out with an +11% increase in orders for new machinery. Italy also shows an encouraging performance, with a +6% increase in orders.
For Q3 2025, expectations remain strongly optimistic: both in the domestic and international markets, a further increase in turnover levels and order intake is expected compared to the previous quarter.
For BD Plast, these results represent a concrete signal of the sector’s dynamism and the consistency of our approach, based on listening to customers, continuous innovation, and the development of high value-added solutions. These are the elements that guide us in strengthening dialogue with partners and clients, increasing competitiveness and global presence.
With confidence in the next quarter, BD Plast is already looking ahead to a key event for the entire industry: participation in the K 2025 trade fair in Düsseldorf. It will be an opportunity to present our latest solutions, engage with leading international players, and strengthen dialogue with customers and partners in a context that has always been a benchmark for the plastics and rubber industry.
